This newest version of iTunes is by far the best and most user friendly version of iTunes to date. You can use it like before with the database look or the new album page. Now I’ve downloaded the latest version of iTunes on an HP m9360f running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit and 8 gigs of RAM. The download was less than a minute via AT&T’s High Speed Internet. What took the longest to do was when I went to use the newest feature of the software.
The newest feature of the software is called Genius. What it does is when it is activated when you click on a song in your library it will bring up a sidebar from the iTunes Store and make suggestions of other songs that go with the song you chose and don’t already have in your library. You can then buy the song with on click of the mouse. I you click the Genius button after selecting the song it will create a play list for you based on that song. Here is an example using my library:
